Ring the bell
Since patch 403, customers only arrive when you ring the shop bell — waiting at the counter does nothing.
Green outline = on grain
Rotate every piece until its arrow sits horizontal and the outline turns green. A misaligned piece silently caps your final quality — even perfect sewing can't save it.
Fabric closes the gap
Sketch freely — fabric tags contribute heavily to the final totals, so let the Emporium close whatever the draft is missing.
Sew with the keyboard
Space starts/stops, A/D rotates, W/S changes speed. Short bursts on straights, slow on corners — and Sewing Assist is there if you struggle.
Buy exact yardage
The sketchbook tells you the required metres before you shop, and overspending is scored. Burlap is free — the classic broke-day safety net.
The profit formula
Off-rack sell price = material + labor, × a quality multiplier up to 150% × a prestige multiplier up to 150%. Cheap cloth, high quality, high rank = best margin.
